We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us as a Headteacher.

Overview of the role of Headteacher:
  1. Formulate the aims and objectives of the school and establish policies to achieve them, under the overall direction of the governing body.
  2. Lead by example, articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focus on providing excellent education for all pupils.
  3. Provide direction and line management of the senior leadership team.
  4. Be responsible for standards and curriculum across the school, including monitoring progress towards achievement.
  5. Have a central role in raising the quality of teaching and learning and improving pupils’ achievement by setting high expectations and evaluating learning outcomes.
  6. Manage safeguarding procedures in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
  7. Provide curriculum leadership across the school.
  8. Lead regular reviews of school systems to ensure statutory compliance and continuous improvement.
  9. Lead on Ofsted inspections and maintain compliance with independent school standards.
  10. Manage staff development programs and school resources.
  11. Lead the formulation and review of the School Development Plan.
Our ideal candidate will have:
  • A committed and passionate approach to supporting students with SEND.
  • At least two years’ experience working in a SEND environment or similar provision.
  • QTS/QTLS certification is required for this post.
