We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher to join our team at Pear Tree High School.
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled professional for the role of Assistant Headteacher, which will also include responsibilities as English Lead.
This is a permanent, full-time leadership role starting September 2025, attracting a salary on the leadership scale, points L4-8, with a range of £53,602 - £59,167.

About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and creative English practitioner passionate about English/Literacy, with practical knowledge of diverse teaching strategies tailored for pupils with SEND.
The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to adapt and differentiate it to meet the needs of SEND learners.
This role requires outstanding classroom practice, creativity, initiative, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to professional development. Leadership in English is essential.
