Headteacher - SEMH School

Salary: Up to £70,000 + 24% Bonus Scheme (OTE £86,000)

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Are you a dynamic and inspirational leader passionate about providing exceptional education? We are seeking an outstanding Headteacher to lead our specialist 20-place school in Barnsley, ensuring continued excellence and growth.

We are now looking for a dedicated leader to build on this success and drive further improvement.

The Role

As Headteacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic leadership and vision to ensure the continued success of the school.
  • Maintaining and enhancing our high standards of teaching, learning, and student well-being.
  • Leading and developing a committed team of staff to deliver an inclusive and engaging curriculum.
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and striving for excellence in all areas.
  • Managing school operations, including budget and resources, to secure long-term sustainability.
  • Working collaboratively with external agencies, parents, and the wider community.

  • Proven leadership experience in a school, ideally in a specialist or SEN setting.
