The Lanesborough Grill at The Lanesborough is renowned for modern British cookery and seasonal produce, led by Executive Chef Shay Cooper. We are seeking a dedicated team member who thrives in a fine dining setting and can elevate every guest experience in a luxury environment.

Ideal candidates will bring passion for hospitality, impeccable grooming, and a collaborative attitude to ensure flawless service and memorable dining for our guests in central London.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fine dining restaurant within a luxury establishment.
• Excellent command of the English language; a second language is preferred.
• Immaculate grooming standards and professional presentation.
• Note: role requires an element of manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the guest experience during service and ensure personalised recognition.
• Communicate effectively with the Kitchen brigade and Restaurant management to deliver seamless service.
• Recommend menu items and presentation accompaniments to guests, upholding Michelin-level standards.

Our reimagined flagship restaurant is home to Executive Chef Shay Cooper’s modern and innovative British cookery, with a focus on seasonal produce from around the country. A richly decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening, The Lanesborough Grill offers a truly memorable dining experience.

Candidate Profile

You will be an exceptional team player and have a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience. Working within a professional team, you will ensure you are fully conversant with the menus/items and presentation accompaniments and able to make recommendations to our guests. During service, you will take ownership of the guest experience with an emphasis on guest recognition and personalisation to create a memorable dining experience. You will communicate effectively between your team, the Kitchen brigade and the Restaurant management. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with fine dining experience to progress their career within a highly recognized Food and Beverage establishment.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment is essential and experience within a Michelin star restaurant is preferable
• Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
• Immaculate grooming standards.
