Job summary

Penningtons Brasserie and Bar at the Castle Hotel in Windsor, part of Sutton 1079, seeks a Head Waiter/Waitress to lead the front-of-house team and deliver exceptional hospitality.

You will supervise and develop waiters, coordinate with the kitchen and bar, manage service flow, train staff, resolve guest issues and uphold food safety, with a focus on warmth and attentiveness.

Qualifications

• You're a natural people person with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Previous experience in a busy independent restaurant or brasserie.
• Enjoy working closely with kitchen and bar teams to keep things running smoothly.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.

About the role:

As our Head Waiter you will lead the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional, high-quality hospitality, acting as a bridge between the restaurant manager, kitchen, and service staff. You will supervise, assist and develop waiters on their station, ensuring correct procedures and standards are maintained at all times. Key responsibilities include training staff, managing service flow, resolving customer complaints, ensuring food safety compliance, and overseeing station setups to maximize guest satisfaction.
