Job summary

Medivet & Partners is seeking a Head Nurse to provide clinical leadership for our nursing team, delivering exceptional patient and client care while ensuring compliance with regulatory and practice standards.

You will lead, develop and inspire colleagues, coordinate nurse-led clinics, schedule activities, and support admissions, discharges and surgical cases, with some weekend and bank holiday work as required by business needs.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care.
• Confident leader with experience of getting the best out of every colleague.
• Willing to lead, develop and inspire staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures while complying with regulatory, practice and operational standards.
• Provide patient monitoring and care, manage admissions and discharges.
• Deliver exceptional care to clients and their families.
• Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team.
• There will be some weekend and bank holiday work as required by business needs.
