Job summary

Medivet Group is seeking a Head Nurse to lead our nursing team, ensuring outstanding patient and client care while maintaining regulatory standards. You will provide clinical leadership, support colleagues, and drive service improvements across the practice.

You will lead nurse-led clinics, supervise admissions and discharges, and foster a culture of continuous development for the nursing team. Weekend and bank holiday work may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration required.
• Leadership experience in a nursing/team setting.
• Passion for delivering high-quality patient and client care.

• Monitor patients and manage admissions and discharges.
• Provide exceptional care to clients.
• Deliver clinical leadership and develop the nursing team.
• Occasional weekend and bank holiday work as required.

Job description

As a Head Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the nursing team ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory, practice and operational standards and compliance.

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

• Deliver exceptional care to patients, leading nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
• Deliver exceptional care to your clients
• Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team
• In addition to all the above, there will be some weekend and bank holiday working as required by business needs.
