Job summary

Medivet seeks a proactive Head Nurse to lead and inspire the nursing team across our hospital services. You will drive clinical leadership, ensure high standards of patient care, and support colleagues in delivering exceptional services to clients and patients alike.

As a RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse, you will oversee nurse-led clinics, monitor admissions and discharges, and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS) with current registration.
• Experience leading a nursing team or supervising colleagues.
• Strong passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.

Responsibilities

• Lead nurse-led appointments, schedule activities and support consults, surgeries and procedures while complying with standards.
• Provide patient monitoring, care, admissions and discharges.
• Deliver exceptional client care and guidance to the nursing team.
• Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to colleagues.
