Academics is seeking an experienced Head of School for a well-established SEN School in High Wycombe. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to raise standards in teaching, safeguarding and pupil outcomes for children with complex needs.

You will lead staff development, monitor progress, and work with the Executive Headteacher and Local Authorities to secure inclusive, high-quality provision and continuous improvement across the school.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven leadership and management experience in a school or educational setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to pupil welfare.
• Experience delivering school improvement initiatives and working with SEND provision.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the SEN School in High Wycombe.
• Collaborate with the Executive Headteacher and SLT to deliver school improvement priorities.
• Lead and develop staff to ensure high standards of teaching, learning and professional practice.
• Ensure high-quality provision for pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD, SLCN, SEMH and complex needs.
• Support curriculum development to deliver an ambitious, inclusive and personalised curriculum.
• Develop relationships with pupils, families, Local Authorities and external agencies.
• Support staff performance management and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to self-evaluation, development planning and quality assurance.
