Job summary

Fowey Hall Hotel is seeking an experienced Head Spa Therapist to lead our spa team and deliver exceptional treatments and guest service on a full‑time, permanent basis.

You will oversee day‑to‑day spa operations, motivate the team, manage bookings and stock, ensure health and safety standards, and drive revenue through spa services and retail. Weekend and shift flexibility is required; Elemis training is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a recognised beauty or spa therapy qualification.
  • Experience in a spa environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent guest service and communication.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts as required.

  • Ensure excellent guest service at all times and resolve guest queries professionally.
  • Assist with spa scheduling, treatment bookings and team rotas.

  • Promote spa services and retail products to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support the recruitment, training and development of spa team members.

Salary: £31,720 per annum plus service charge and benefits

Fowey Hall Hotel is a luxury family retreat overlooking the stunning Cornish coastline, offering exceptional hospitality and relaxing spa experiences for our guests. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Spa Therapist to lead our spa team and help deliver outstanding treatments and customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated therapist who thrives in a hands‑on leadership role and is committed to creating memorable guest experiences.

About the Role

As Head Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for leading the day‑to‑day operation of the spa treatment offering, ensuring the highest standards of guest care, treatment delivery, and team performance. You will work closely with the wider hotel management team to maintain an exceptional spa environment while supporting and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a recognised beauty or spa therapy qualification.
  • Has previous experience working in a spa environment.
  • Has experience supervising or leading a team (preferred).
  • Is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is confident in recommending treatments and retail products.
  • Is flexible and able to work weekends and varying shifts as required.

Elemis training is highly desirable but not essential, as full support will be provided for the right candidate.
