Job Opening: Head Receptionist

This is a Permanent, Full-Time vacancy closing in 25 days at 23:59 BST.

The Opportunity

Are you looking to develop your skill set and join one of the fastest-growing dental groups in the UK? We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our team at our mixed NHS and private practice in Wellingborough.

Our Practice Team is central to our business, and we want everyone to feel their role is a vocation, not just a job.

Working Hours

Monday: 09:30 - 18:30

Tuesday: 08:00 - 17:00

Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00

Friday: 08:30 - 17:30

Role Responsibilities

Responsible for providing an excellent patient experience, maintaining a well-organized reception area, managing positive company cash accounts, and building a broad patient base. The role involves organisational, administrative, and professional responsibilities, always maintaining confidentiality.

Ensure dental appointments are booked and records are up-to-date, coordinate the dentist's schedule, and ensure the smooth running of the practice by following procedures, policies, and protocols.

Candidate Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proficiency with computer systems; familiarity with dental systems is advantageous
  • Willingness to learn and progress
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
  • Attention to detail and initiative
  • Well-presented, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
