Qualifications

  • Expérience avérée en tant que Chef Pâtissier dans un restaurant haut de gamme ou une boulangerie.
  • Passionné par la création de pâtisseries saisonnières et délicieuses.
  • Capacité à inspirer et à développer une équipe de chefs pâtissiers.

Responsibilities

Ottolenghi is a celebrated group of restaurants and delis known for its vibrant, seasonal dishes and exceptional hospitality. We are on the look-out for a talent Head Pastry Chef to join our Chelsea kitchen.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a pastry kitchen, create innovative and delicious desserts, and help establish Ottolenghi’s signature style in a brand-new location.

The ideal Head Pastry Chef will be:

  • A talented pastry chef with proven experience leading a pastry section, ideally in a high-end restaurant or bakery
  • Passionate about creating seasonal, beautiful, and delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts that embody Ottolenghi’s ethos
  • Skilled in menu development, able to create both innovative and classic pastries while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Experienced in managing a team, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop pastry chefs
  • Knowledgeable about all aspects of pastry production, including food safety, stock management, and ordering
  • Able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Enthusiastic about fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Comfortable with managing a fast-paced kitchen environment while ensuring quality, creativity, and consistency
