About the position

  • The Head Pastry Chef will take charge of the pastry area, ensuring smooth operations and the delivery of high-quality dishes.
  • Create and present a variety of pastry items to meet exacting standards of preparation and presentation.
  • The Head Pastry Chef will support the team and foster an environment that promotes morale, commitment, and pride.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior pastry team members, ensuring consistent service and product delivery.

The successful candidate

  • Possesses a minimum NVQ Level 3 and CIEH Level 2 qualifications.
  • Demonstrates at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Exhibits strong leadership skills.
  • Works effectively under pressure, ensuring the pastry section operates efficiently daily.
