As the Head of University Technical Services, you will provide strategic leadership, professional direction and institutional advocacy for Nottingham Trent University's technical community. Working in close partnership with Executive Deans, School Executive Teams and School Technical Managers, you will lead the development of a resilient, collaborative and future-focused technical workforce that supports NTU's strategic ambitions in education, research, knowledge exchange and innovation.
Bringing significant experience of technical leadership, organisational development and workforce planning within a complex environment, you will act as the University's senior technical leader, shaping technical strategy, influencing decision-making and ensuring technical services continue to evolve in response to changing institutional priorities, emerging technologies and sector developments.
Reporting to the Head of School Operations Business Partnering, and working closely with the COOR, you will provide leadership to School Technical Managers across the University, oversee delivery of the Technician Commitment, and lead institution-wide initiatives that improve collaboration, consistency, operational effectiveness and long-term sustainability across academic technical services.
