Job summary

Artex is seeking a Head of Underwriting Advisory to shape strategic governance for ACS transformation platforms and to guide advisory work for insurance and reinsurance clients. You will lead complex, cross-functional engagements, review contract language, and drive sustainable revenue through advisory excellence.

The role collaborates with boards, regulators, and senior stakeholders to deliver commercially sound risk-transfer solutions and future-ready platforms.

Qualifications

• Professional insurance or reinsurance qualification required.
• Minimum eight years in insurance, reinsurance, ILS, or related fields.
• Experience designing, structuring, underwriting, or reviewing complex transactions.
• Strong ability to review contracts and commercially assess terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance for ACS transformation platforms.
• Lead advisory engagements with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Review reinsurance wordings, contracts, and transaction documentation.
• Advise on business plans, structures, and operating models for clients.
• Coordinate input from regulators, brokers, investors, and internal teams.
