Job summary

Callen-Lenz in Salisbury, UK, seeks a UAS Training Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of training programs for pilots, operators and customer trainers on our platforms.

You will report to the Head of Flight Operations, build a high-performing team, ensure curricula stay current with CAA/MAA/EASA standards, and liaise with regulators. Degree in Aviation or Engineering and a civil/military aircrew instructor qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in UAS operations or similar field.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs.
• In-depth knowledge of CAA/MAA/EASA requirements for UAS.
• Proven leadership of a training team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement UAS training programs for pilots and operators.
• Ensure training content complies with civil and military regulations (CAA/MAA).
• Lead and manage a team of instructors and support staff.
• Maintain and update the training curriculum to reflect new tech and regs.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external organisations on certifications.
• Conduct regular assessments and safety/regulatory audits.
