Exciting Head of Treasury (Front Office) - Global Insurance Company

Your new company

Delighted to be partnering with a global insurance and reinsurance provider, this is a very exciting interim role for a senior Treasury professional who wants to support a high-performing team within the Global Treasury. The Treasury is an integral part of the Division's Investment Department, responsible for liquidity and foreign currency management, bank relationships, and credit facilities.

The contract role is for approximately 5 months and focuses on credit facility management, maintaining LOC capacity, supporting bank relationships, and, to a lesser extent, cashflow budgeting, cash and cashflow optimization, and foreign currency management. The candidate will represent Treasury in a complex, fast-moving organization, working with internal and external stakeholders, and participating in projects to improve process efficiency through technology.

Your new role

1. Maintain and develop relationships with key banking partners on topics such as credit facilities and capital management transactions to optimize banking infrastructure and support business growth.
2. Provide insights and value-added input on Treasury-related issues supporting the (re)insurance business across all organizational levels.
3. Foster innovation and collaboration within the Investment Department and Global Finance, promoting adoption of new technologies and treasury products for enhanced analytics.
4. Support the Treasury Front Office Cash Management team responsible for short-term liquidity, solutions, reporting, and cash analytics in the region.
5. Manage stakeholders across multiple business functions and banking counterparts.
6. Support collaboration between cash management and currency management specialists within Treasury Front Office, Treasury Middle Office, and Operations teams to improve processes and drive Treasury excellence.
7. Participate in projects aimed at simplifying and increasing efficiency in banking, cash management, reporting automation, and data analytics.

What you'll need to succeed

You should have extensive front office experience, preferably within the insurance industry. The candidate must be skilled at building and enhancing relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group to identify value-added opportunities and process improvements.
