Job summary

Culina is seeking a Head of Transport in the UK to lead our transport network, optimise fleet and resources, and deliver excellent service for customers and the business. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will steer the Transport Department, manage the budget, and drive cost control and financial targets.

You will lead, coach and develop teams, monitor performance with KPIs and BI, and implement strategies to enhance network efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
• CPC qualification and strong knowledge of transport legislation.
• Proven track record managing large-scale transport operations and fleet activity.
• Experience budgeting, improving operational performance and achieving cost efficiencies.
• Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Knowledge of transport planning systems and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport operations to meet business, customer and service objectives.
• Manage transport budgets, control costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
