Job summary

British Airways is seeking a Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor to oversee regulatory compliance and quality assurance of theoretical knowledge instruction within the BA ATO. You will ensure training remains compliant, operationally relevant and effective in supporting pilot competence and safe operations.

The role requires extensive TKIs experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence technical leadership without direct management authority.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of UK CAA Aircrew and Air Ops requirements.
• Extensive instructional experience in flight training and testing.
• Experience developing and assuring pilot training programmes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee theoretical knowledge instruction and standardisation.
• Act as the CTKI focal point for regulatory audits and compliance.
• Maintain syllabus integrity and align with manufacturer data and SOPs.
• Lead QA reviews and drive continuous improvement in training standards.
• Collaborate with authorities to ensure regulatory approval and safety.
