Proctor + Stevenson Ltd. in Bristol seeks a Head of Technology to lead the technology team, translate business needs into technical delivery, and drive secure, scalable IT for clients and internal systems.

You’ll guide infrastructure, security and AI governance, collaborate with Client Services, PMs and the Director of Digital Strategy to win new business and deliver high-quality results.

Formación

• Significant experience leading software development and technology teams within an agency.
• Experience with modern web technologies, cloud platforms and software development methodologies.
• Experience managing technical delivery of digital marketing products such as websites and HubSpot.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, cloud hosting and platform operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers and technology investments.
• Calm under pressure with evidence-based decision-making.
• ISO 27001 and CyberEssentials experience.
• Motivated by process improvement and automation.
• Ability to drive improvements in software dev practices and release management.

Responsabilidades

• Meet regularly with the team to ensure resources are in place for client outcomes.
• Review the roadmap and bring value-added initiatives to life for clients.
• Manage internal IT infrastructure, cloud platforms and critical systems.
• Lead compliance activities relating to ISO 27001, GDPR and cybersecurity best practices.
• You’ll decide on services and tech stack to optimise delivery and value.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, suppliers and partners with IT leadership.
• You’ll be escalation point when issues arise and provide general support.
• You’ll oversee development and maintenance of technology standards and governance.
• Collaborate with directors and business development on tenders and pitches.
