Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment seeks a Head of Service to own service operations in a growing security/engineering business in Liverpool. The role offers £50,000 - £55,000 plus progression, enhanced holidays, a company van and hybrid working.

You will lead service and maintenance operations, coordinate field engineers, oversee maintenance and breakdowns, and manage customer relationships to ensure high service performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Manager, Head of Service or Service Operations role.
• Background in security systems, engineering, access control or related technical industry.
• Ability to lead service and maintenance operations and coordinate field engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage service and maintenance operations.
• Coordinate field engineers and allocate service work effectively.
• Oversee planned maintenance, repairs and emergency breakdowns.
• Manage customer relationships and resolve escalated service issues.
• Monitor service performance, quality and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with installation, project management and commercial teams.
