Job Description

Location: Hybrid working with weekly visits to an Arqiva office in Daventry (also Winchester, London, Huddersfield) as required.

Total Package:

• Up to £90k depending on experience

Role Purpose

To deliver revenue aligned with programme expectations and ensure a positive customer experience during programme delivery. Meet all KPIs including programme deliverables and customer satisfaction measured by C-Mex Scores.

The role

• Lead and manage internal and contractor installation teams to deliver smart meter installation plans on time, within budget, and safely.
• Oversee installation contracts, ensuring obligations are met within timelines.
• Monitor performance, ensure compliance, and maintain contract documentation.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve disputes.
• Advise senior management on risks and performance.
• Develop relationships with suppliers, manage forecasts, and ensure deployment plans are aligned.
• Manage quality assurance and improve installation quality and first-time success rates.

The person

• Strong programme/project management experience.
• Knowledge of utilities market and smart metering technologies, IoT.
• Experience in contract management, especially in water industry.
• Leadership skills, managing internal teams and third-party contractors.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading multiple workstreams in utilities sector.
