We are currently recruiting for a Head of Sales and Strategic Account Manager to join our established and experienced Global Sales Development and Broker Relationship team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
This role will lead the Global Sales Development and Broker Relationship Management teams in Specialty Lines to drive Growth, Profit, and Broker Advocacy.
You will personally establish, manage, and coach your team to build a network of healthy and successful personal relationships at senior levels across our Strategic Brokers and within RSA.
You will oversee the development of robust, long-term broker account strategies and plans. Develop customer-level sales pipelines for each line of business and coordinate the involvement of Executive Stakeholders, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Claims, and Underwriting colleagues across Specialty Lines and Commercial Lines.
UK and potentially international travel will be required from time to time. This role will be based in London.
You will be capable of leading groups of Strategic Account Managers, Global Development Managers, and Senior Business Development Managers, enhancing their ability to operate successfully at senior levels.
You will be experienced in leading the identification, planning, and winning of major development opportunities with strategic brokers, in line with Global Speciality Line distribution strategy, and able to initiate and embed a rolling 3-year account strategy to support SL & CL.
Excellent Relationship Management skills are essential, along with the ability to work closely with Trading, Sales, and Proposition teams, and to engage with and represent RSA to the most senior individuals at the executive level.
