The Role:

As Head of Sales Management for Global Distribution, you will be responsible for supporting the Global Head of Distribution with day-to-day management of M&G’s sales teams, including working closely with the Country and Regional Sales Heads to drive delivery of sales priorities; addressing issues impacting sales activity and removing ‘barriers to execution’; and owning the distribution communications strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships and regular dialogue with Country and Regional Sales Heads, to support them in delivery of priorities and sales targets
  • Understand challenges, identify and prioritise common themes and work with stakeholders across the business to address and resolve issues
  • Support the Global Head of Distribution and Product with presentations and preparations for client meetings, townhalls, and other ad hoc requests
  • Work closely with Head of Client Data & Insight and wider Business Management team to drive Salesforce adoption, generate MI to support monitoring of performance vs objectives / targets, and develop HY and FY flow forecasting views
  • Own the agenda for the Global Sales Meeting (1-2 per year), regular monthly Sales Heads Meetings, and Sales offsites
  • Own the Global Distribution and Product (GDP) communication strategy, both within the function and working with internal comms to communicate across the wider business, including providing regular updates on client sentiment and outlook
  • Support development of sales skills and knowledge
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in Asset Management, preferably in a sales and / or business management role
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised and experienced in coordinating inputs / projects across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Very strong communication (written and verbal)
  • Commercial acumen and intellectual curiosity
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Confident using MS Office, particularly PowerPoint
