Babcock International is seeking a Head of Risk at the Devonport Royal Dockyard. You will lead risk and opportunity management across bids, programmes and delivery, embedded within the Project Management Office, influencing governance, forecasting and decision-making on complex programmes.
The role is full-time, site-based with SC clearance requirements. You will oversee a matrix team, develop risk models and cost forecasting tools, and engage senior stakeholders to improve risk management
As a Head of Risk, you'll lead risk and opportunity management activities across both business-winning and project delivery phases. Working within the Project Management Office, you'll help ensure robust governance, forecasting and decision-making processes are embedded across complex programmes. Day-to-day, you'll have an exciting opportunity to influence major programmes, work with senior stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in risk management practices. You'll play a key role in developing capability, enhancing project performance and supporting the delivery of strategically important projects that contribute to a safe and secure world.
This role is full time, 35, hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
