Babcock is seeking a Head of Risk for on-site work at Devonport Royal Dockyard in the UK. The role focuses on strategic risk and opportunity management across programmes, with responsibility for risk models, forecasting tools and governance processes.

Essential requirements include an engineering-related degree and experience in risk management, with the ability to secure Security Check clearance. The role also involves leading a small team and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Significant experience in risk and opportunity management within strategic programmes and project-based environments.
• Experience developing and managing risk models and cost forecasting tools.
• Experience supporting bids, tenders and project delivery through risk modelling and analysis.
• Security clearance: ability to obtain and maintain SC clearance.
