Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Benefits Lead to drive the realisation of value across major transformation programmes. You will establish and lead the benefits management framework, ensuring benefits are defined, tracked, and delivered, while collaborating with senior stakeholders and programme teams across a leading engineering and defence organisation.

The role is full-time (35 hours/week) with hybrid working arrangements, requiring a UK national who can obtain SC security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing benefits realisation within complex programmes or projects.
• Strong understanding of business case development, value management and benefits frameworks.
• Experience developing and maintaining benefits management and realisation plans.
• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, forecasting, modelling and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to engage, influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

The role

As Benefits Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring major programmes deliver measurable value and meaningful business outcomes. Working across complex transformation and change initiatives, you'll establish and lead the benefits realisation framework, ensuring programme benefits are clearly defined, tracked, measured and ultimately achieved.

Day-to-day, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, challenge thinking, and help shape investment priorities across a leading engineering and defence organisation. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders, programme teams and business leaders, helping drive positive change while developing your own expertise in programme delivery, value management and business transformation.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days in the office/onsite.

Essential experience of the Benefits Lead

• Experience managing benefits realisation within complex programmes or projects.
• Strong understanding of business case development, value management and benefits frameworks.
• Experience developing and maintaining benefits management and realisation plans.
• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, forecasting, modelling and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to engage, influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications for the Benefits Lead

• APM Value and Benefits Management qualification, or equivalent
• Professional development relating to benefits management, governance or portfolio management.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
