Provit Recruitment, in partnership with a specialist alternative education provider, is seeking an Education Provision Lead in Coleshill, Birmingham. This senior role leads day-to-day provision operations, embedding high educational standards, safeguarding culture, and supports learners and staff in a structured environment.

The role balances strategic oversight with hands-on management, line-managing teaching and support staff, and driving quality assurance and continuous improvement across the

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or Level 5 teaching equivalent qualification.
• Leadership experience within an educational setting or strong leadership ability.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience.
• Experience managing staff performance and professional development.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong understanding of educational standards, behaviour systems, and learner outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day management of the provision.
• Line managing teaching and support staff.
• Driving high standards in behaviour, attendance, and learner outcomes.
• Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the provision.
• Supporting curriculum implementation and quality assurance processes.
• Conducting learning walks, observations, and operational reviews.
• Managing stakeholder relationships with schools, local authorities, and families.
• Leading restorative practices, reintegration support, and learner interventions.
• Ensuring safeguarding, compliance, and operational procedures are consistently maintained.
• Supporting staff development, accountability, and professional growth.
