Job Description:

Lincoln Cornhill is currently working with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Head of Property & Compliance on an interim six-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, however the client is open to hearing from candidates with a longer notice period. The working hours for the role are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours.

The range of duties which are covered include:

1. Leading the Repairs, Planned and Compliance functions for a leading Housing Association
2. Providing support to the incumbent Compliance Manager, in particular with M+E policies
3. Playing an active role in the overall improvement of the property services function
4. Attending contractor meetings and ensuring excellent value for money
5. Adopting a profit/loss approach, understanding how to streamline services while maintaining an excellent standard

Experience and skills required:

1. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing policies/procedures around M&E. Alongside exposure to M&E, the successful candidate must have delivered a cost efficient, but effective Repairs & Maintenance Service.
2. Must have experience of working within Social Housing is essential
3. Experience liaising with stakeholders, and senior management
4. Proven track record in developing and implementing policies and procedures surrounding M&E
