Job Description:

Lincoln Cornhill is currently working with a Housing Association based in Bristol, recruiting for a Head of Property & Compliance on an interim six-month contract.

The role starts immediately, but the client is open to candidates with longer notice periods. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the Repairs, Planned, and Compliance functions for a Housing Association.
  2. Supporting the Compliance Manager, especially with M+E policies.
  3. Improving the overall property services function.
  4. Attending contractor meetings and ensuring value for money.
  5. Adopting a profit/loss approach to streamline services while maintaining standards.

Required experience and skills:

  1. Experience developing and implementing policies around M+E, with a proven track record in delivering cost-effective Repairs & Maintenance services.
  2. Experience working within Social Housing is essential.
  3. Experience liaising with stakeholders and senior management.
  4. Proven ability to develop policies and procedures related to M+E.
