Job summary

SER Limited in North Manchester is seeking a Head of Projects to lead its HVAC and mechanical project delivery across the UK. You will oversee 5 Project Managers and act as the technical escalation point for complex HVAC issues.

The role requires travel and a strong focus on safety, quality, and profitability. You will drive project costs, margins and procurement support while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the required standards.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC/mechanical building services background.
• Experience managing Project Managers.
• Experience delivering multiple projects in the UK.
• Good understanding of project costs and profitability.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support a team of 5 Project Managers

Location: North Manchester Base with National Travel
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus

An established and growing HVAC and mechanical contractor is looking for an experienced Head of Projects / Senior Project Manager to lead its Project Management team.

This is a senior role overseeing 5 Project Managers and taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of HVAC and mechanical projects across the UK.

You will be the first point of call for technical project issues, supporting Project Managers with complex challenges and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

The Role
