Job summary

Malloy Aeronautics in Berkshire, UK, is seeking a Head of Programmes to lead multiple complex aerospace programmes from initiation to delivery. You will own governance, planning, budgeting, and cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes for both defence and commercial heavy-lift drone initiatives.

The role requires senior leadership, exceptional stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering complex programmes

Qualifications

• Programme management across aerospace/defence programmes required.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation.
• Understanding of how functions integrate to deliver on time and cost.
• Knowledge of competitors' products and unique selling points.
• Experience managing complex programmes from initiation to closure.
• Willingness to travel to various sites and locations.

Responsibilities

• Overseas planning, execution, and closing of projects.
• Lead and scale the Programme Management function with standard templates.
• Governance and reporting of programme status, risks, and outcomes.
• Facilitate Integrated Business Planning and cross-functional alignment.
• Contribute to Sales and Operations Planning to balance demand and supply.
• Mentor project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Lead bids and proposals with technical, financial and operational teams.
• Drive innovation and cost-control across programmes.
