Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Head of Private Client for a well-established law firm in the Southport area. You will lead the Private Client department and steer strategic initiatives.

You will manage your own caseload, including wills and Court of Protection matters, while mentoring two fee earners and two support staff.

A proactive leader with excellent client care, business development and relationship-building skills, STEP qualification is advantageous.

Formación

• Significant experience handling a broad range of private client matters.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a private client team.
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, estate administration and Court of Protection work.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• A proactive approach to business development and networking.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing others.
• STEP qualification, or a willingness to work towards it, would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Private Client department and drive its strategic direction.
• Manage your own caseload including wills and Court of Protection matters.
• Oversee a small team of two fee earners and two support staff.
• Play an active role in business development and relationship-building with referrers.
• Maintain a high standard of client service and compliance.
