Head of PMO - Pensions Programme - INSIDE IR35 - REMOTE
Our client, a global company, is recruiting for a Head of PMO to join the team on a contract basis, primarily remote with some ad hoc travel to client sites.
Must be eligible for SC clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Programme & Project Management: Support the activity of defining policy and standards across the business.
- Governance: Support the activity of defining policy and standards, project/programme governance processes.
- Planning & Scheduling: Create comprehensive, integrated plans at the project, programme, and portfolio levels for complex and major projects, enabling effective monitoring and control.
- Create consolidated planning outputs to support programme and portfolio management reporting and governance.
- Resource Management: Identify and assign resources; support decisions by assessing supply, demand, availability, utilization, and capacity.
- Risk & Issue Management: Establish and manage risk and issue management processes, tools, and techniques across programmes and portfolios.
- Data Analysis / Business Intelligence: Develop tools and strategies to transform raw data into business insights.
- Delivery Support and Management: Provide specialist input and engagement with other business areas to support wider outcomes.
Experience:
- Significant experience in project management and leadership roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Proven experience in implementing and improving PMO processes and procedures.
- Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
