Job summary

Trust In SODA seeks a Head of Platform Engineering to own the strategy for a platform engineering function of about 20 engineers. Drive cloud infrastructure direction, self-service tooling and pipelines to accelerate product delivery, with success measured by DORA metrics.

The role requires leading internal and external engineers, deep cloud knowledge (AWS/GCP), and experience with Terraform/Ansible, monitoring, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams of 15+ (internal and external).
• Strong knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Monitoring, logging and alerting capabilities.
• Stakeholder management up to senior leadership level.
• Telecoms, start-up or PE-backed experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of internal and external engineers and set direction for cloud infrastructure.
• Build self-service tooling and pipelines for product delivery.
• Drive improvements using DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, recovery).
