Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Head of Organisational Effectiveness for one of our F1 Technical teams. You will work closely with senior leaders, translating people priorities into practical actions that improve leadership, culture, capability and performance.

You will be a trusted partner and coach, shaping teams, organisation design and workforce planning to drive high performance under pressure and strengthen accountability across the function.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior People or HR roles in elite performance environments.
• Proven leadership coaching to improve leader effectiveness and accountability.
• Strong organisational development and change management expertise.
• Experience across organisational design, talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
• Balance strategic thinking with operational delivery in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across the technical function to enable honest conversations and quick action.
• Stay close to leaders, using data and on‑the‑ground observations to understand performance blockers.
• Translate insights into practical people priorities that support team goals.
• Coach senior leaders to improve decisions, communication and accountability.
• Shape teams and ways of working through organisation design, workforce and succession planning.
• Help leaders create a one‑team environment that collaborates under pressure.
• Oversee employee relations and people planning with sound judgement.
• Connect the team with wider technical, production and race teams to improve performance via collaboration.
