Job summary

NG Bailey Group & Central in Leeds (Hybrid) seeks a Head of People Operations to lead a team delivering a compliant, high-quality people service across the organisation. The role focuses on partnering with senior leaders, turning strategy into practical outcomes and driving continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have extensive People Operations or HR Services leadership experience, strong UK employment law knowledge, and CIPD qualifications.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading People Operations, HR Services or HRBP teams.
• Strong UK employment law and employee relations expertise.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions.
• CIPD Level 7 qualification or Chartered CIPD membership or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of People professionals and partner with business leaders.
• Use insights and data to identify opportunities, manage risk and drive improvements.
• Oversee complex employee relations matters and people challenges.
• Collaborate with Reward, Talent Acquisition and Development to deliver a seamless service.
