Saint George's Church of England School in Gravesend is seeking a Head of PE to lead the PE department within our all-through school. The role is full-time and permanent, starting January 2027, with MPS/UPS plus TLR 2A.

We are delighted to offer a very exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader to lead our PE team in our over-subscribed, successful and inclusive Church of England All-Through School.
The school has an existing reputation for high-quality education with a relentless focus upon high expectations and aspirations, physical education plays a key role in this, and in developing a wide range of personal skills and character growth opportunities for pupils aged between 4 - 18 years old.

The school currently offers pupils the opportunity to continue to study sport and PE into KS4 and KS5 through our BTEC programme. We offer netball, basketball, rowing, athletics, football and rugby to a good standard within our extra-curricular offer and are keen to develop cricket for boys and girls and girls' rugby in particular to complement this offer.
