Job summary

ThePlaceToBe is seeking a Head of Paid Media in Leeds for a hybrid, 3-days-a-week arrangement with a Leeds City Centre base. You will lead a growing Paid Media team, shape campaign strategy across Google, Meta, TikTok, and more, and drive spend efficiency for key clients.

You’ll manage a small team, mentor staff, and present performance insights to Senior Leadership, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring cross-functional alignment with creative teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Paid Media with focus on Paid Search and Paid Social.
• Strong numerical skills and Excel proficiency; comfortable with data.
• Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks and conduct appraisals.
• Confident client-facing skills and regular meetings.
• Agency experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Ability to manage large digital spends and budgets.
• Good understanding of Paid Media landscape across channels.
• You can commute to Leeds City Centre.

Responsibilities

• Plan strategy of Paid Media across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, TikTok and more.
• Manage digital marketing spends into the thousands per month.
• Liaise with clients to update them on performance.
• Present ideas to Senior Leadership to grow the department.
• Take part in recruitment and team development.
• Directly manage a small team of executives and managers.
• Collaborate with creative teams to align visuals with strategy.
