Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Head of Operational Development within CIB to lead a cross‑functional transformation agenda across Markets, Lending and Trade. You will shape the operating model, define the roadmap for automation and AI readiness, and ensure value realisation through disciplined governance and performance metrics.

Reporting to the CIB COO, this role collaborates with Operations, Product, Technology and Group partners to deliver sustainable growth and enhanced client outcomes in

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex operational transformation in financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Operations, workforce planning and governance.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable productivity and client outcomes through technology and process redesign.
• Experience building operational roadmaps and translating priorities into delivery plans across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with automation, data analytics and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership of high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead the Operations development agenda with a single roadmap for productivity and efficiency.
• Develop operating models, forecasting and workforce planning to support growth and resilience.
• Own the Operations performance framework with MI, scorecards and insights for leadership.
• Lead process mapping, process mining and operational intelligence initiatives.
• Translate strategic investments into operational delivery with benefits tracking.
• Partner with platform teams to scale automation and AI-ready solutions.
