Job summary

Orbital South Colleges Group seeks a strategic Head of MIS – Systems and Reporting to steer the development of MIS, reporting infrastructure and digital platforms across East Surrey College and John Ruskin College. You will shape how data and technology work together to support leaders with informed decisions, while meeting funding, audit and safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MIS, systems, reporting or BI functions.
• Strong knowledge of ILR, funding data compliance.
• Experience with complex datasets, reporting systems and databases.
• Knowledge of ProSolution or other educational MIS systems.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Ability to translate data into insights for strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MIS systems, reporting infrastructure and digital platforms across East Surrey College and John Ruskin College.
• Lead systems integration, digital transformation and BI reporting improvements.
• Develop business intelligence solutions and automate workflows to improve efficiency.
• Ensure data security, compliance and accurate data for funding and governance.
