Job summary

EdEx - Education Recruitment is partnering with a Fantastic Secondary School in Bushey, Hertfordshire to recruit a Head of Maths for January 2027. This permanent, full-time role includes a £12,500 TLR and strong leadership expectations.

You will lead a large team of Maths Teachers (KS3–KS5), design and tailor a Maths curriculum to the cohorts’ needs, and help drive high standards across the Maths department. UK QTS is essential and future leadership CPD opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Must have UK QTS.
• You must be able to manage a range of personalities.
• Be able to motivate, inspire & drive standards throughout.
• Strong understanding of Maths curriculum.
• Fantastic expectations for yourself & fellow Maths Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large team of Maths Teachers (KS3-KS5).
