Job summary

Brooklands Academy, part of the 5 Dimensions Trust, requires a Leading Teacher for Maths (Head of Department) to commence January 2027. This permanent, full-time role includes a TLR 1A allowance of £10,174 per annum and a strategic leadership remit to advance the Maths curriculum across the academy and trust.

The post offers access to high-quality training, a focus on wellbeing, and generous pension schemes (LGPS/TPS) along with incremental pay progression and bespoke CPD, plus flexible working

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic leadership of a maths department.
• Ability to develop and enhance the maths curriculum area.
• Proven track record in leading and developing teaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maths department and strategic direction.
• Develop and implement the Maths curriculum strategy.
• Support staff, CPD, and performance improvement initiatives.
