Job summary

William Lovell Church of England Academy is seeking a Teacher of subject and Cluster Lead to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum. You will monitor pupil progress, foster a stimulating learning environment, and contribute to curriculum development and safeguarding.

The role includes directing teaching staff within the cluster, collaborating with external agencies, and promoting high standards of behaviour and inclusion in line with school policies.

Qualifications

• Deliver a broadly balanced curriculum aligned to National Curriculum.
• Monitor and support pupils' progress and development.
• Promote safeguarding and health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Directing and supervising the work of the Teachers within the cluster and Teaching Assistants.
• Co-operate with professionals from external agencies (e.g., Specialist teachers, LAAT support services, health professionals and social workers).
• Develop literacy across the curriculum within the Cluster.
• Use a variety of delivery methods appropriate to students’ learning styles and curriculum demands.
• Provide a positive, safe learning environment, encouraging high standards in punctuality and presentation of work.
• Play a full part in the life of the school and LAAT community, and promote its Christian ethos.
• Follow and actively promote the school’s policies.
