Job summary

The Gainsborough Academy is seeking an aspiring senior leader to influence Trust-wide maths outcomes while remaining connected to classroom practice. You will support the Subject Director, lead Maths in one or two schools, and contribute to wider Trust strategy through leadership, coaching and curriculum development.

Responsibilities include strategic curriculum delivery, staff development, data analysis and designing an inclusive maths programme that raises standards for all learners.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and a Mathematics degree with a strong teaching track record in Maths.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: support curriculum delivery and raise standards across the Trust.
• School Leadership: provide direct subject leadership in designated schools.
• Staff Development: coach, mentor and collaborate with teachers to improve teaching quality.
• Curriculum Design: design and implement an ambitious Maths curriculum that meets all students' needs.
• Data & Intervention: analyse performance data to identify barriers and close attainment gaps.
• Inclusive Practice: embed inclusive practices across the Trust to benefit all students.
• Collaboration: work with a forward-thinking subject team across school phases.
