Job summary

St Mark's Church of England School in Southampton is seeking a committed Computing Subject Lead to shape our IT curriculum and lead teaching across the school up to GCSE. You will work within a growing team, aligning with our Christian values of Love, Service and Belonging.

The role offers opportunities to develop practice, support colleagues, and contribute to departmental and whole-school improvement while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning in a caring, community-focused

  • Understands high-quality teaching and learning strategies in the subject, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve.
  • Has expert knowledge of legislation and guidance on curriculum requirements.

About the Role

St Mark's Church of England School is seeking to appoint a committed and talented Computing Subject Lead to join our growing team where you will lead the development of and actively shape our IT Curriculum. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their very best and who aligns with our Christian values of Love, Service and Belonging. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious teacher to develop their practice and actively contribute to our evolving department. The successful candidate will:
