Job summary

The Heights Burnley seek to appoint a Head Of Maths on a full time and permanent to start in January 2027.

The role focuses on leading the Mathematics department, delivering an ambitious curriculum and driving high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across the faculty, while supporting students’ academic and personal development and contributing to whole-school improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Educated to Degree level or equivalent, in related subject
• Other qualification/Continuous Professional Development specific to secondary school teaching.

We are a 5-16 Alternative Provision School. Our provision caters for those pupils who have found it difficult to achieve in a mainstream school.
