What your role is
The Head of Marketing, NEDM - Old El Paso and Nature Valley Brand connector will be responsible for leading the marketing team across brands and markets in NEDM, with Germany, Nordics, CHAT and BENELUX as markets. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing Marketing plans across the General Mills portfolio in Northern European distributor markets, managing the total media and marketing budgets and driving marketing campaigns and activations across the region.
They would need to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders amongst the cross-functional team, including Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, as well as engage effectively with our distributors and their teams in each market to ensure marketing launches and plans are executed effectively. They would also need to engage with the regional and global teams cross-functionally across brands (representing Global Emerging Markets as the Snack Brand Connector) as well as Media, PR and other Brand Experience agencies.

A dynamic and results-oriented individual with 10+ years of experience driving impactful marketing campaigns. Experience collaborating with distributors is a significant plus. You possess a sharp commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the entire product lifecycle, demonstrated by your strong experience in managing NPD launches and crafting compelling marketing and activation plans.
This role demands exceptional leadership skills; you will have a proven history of successfully managing and mentoring teams. You are adept at managing media budgets, developing strategic media plans, and working collaboratively with agency partners. Experience in e-commerce is highly valued. Your approach is analytical and ROI-driven, ensuring all marketing investments deliver measurable results.
Finally, you excel at cross-cultural collaboration, possessing strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
