Group Head of Marketing – Lead a Multi-Brand Strategy

Location: Northampton

Are you a dynamic marketing leader with the vision and drive to steer a multi-brand strategy across a diverse group of businesses?

This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a marketing budget, shape strategy at both group level with a commitment to delivering real results.

As Group Head of Marketing, you’ll report directly to the Board and lead the marketing function across the group. You’ll craft and execute brand-aligned strategies that are bespoke to each company while maintaining a consistent group voice. You’ll collaborate with directors, and be responsible for ensuring ROI through clear metrics, reporting, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the group-wide marketing strategy across multiple sectors
  • Oversee brand positioning and campaign execution
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of results
  • Live, breathe and communicate values internally and externally
  • Audit and analyze current marketing results and identify opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to grow each channel and be prepared to deliver
  • Ideally a skillset across Web, SEO, B2B Paid Ads, Email and Exhibitions - or master of one
  • Ensure ROI through clear metrics, reporting, and budgeting
  • Represent marketing at Board level and contribute to strategic planning

What You'll Need:

  • Experience across B2B service sectors
  • Feeling at home in an SME - ready to be hands on and use your own core marketing skills
  • Investigative analytics - go above and beyond to identify great marketing opportunities
  • A passion to drive success through marketing that is clearly communicated and actioned
  • Strong experience executing campaigns, budgeting, reporting and stakeholder engagement
  • Great financial acumen - knowing the company commercials and how marketing contributes
  • Driver's license and Passport - for international travel, visiting sites and exhibitions
