Job summary

The Advocate Group are exclusively supporting a growing independent drinks business in Leeds to appoint a Head of Marketing to lead the function and shape its next stage of growth.

This is a broad, commercially focused role spanning Trade, Brand, Customer, Retail & D2C, with a significant opportunity to strengthen the link between Marketing and Sales.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in marketing leadership and strategy development.
• Experience building and leading cross-functional marketing teams.
• Strong understanding of trade, customer and B2B marketing in FMCG.

• Build stronger B2B and Trade Marketing capability.
• Work closely with Sales on customer activation and commercial opportunities.
• Oversee brand, retail, D2C, events and creative activity.

• Bring greater commercial focus and accountability to the function.

This is a broad, commercially focused role spanning Trade, Brand, Customer, Retail & D2C, with a significant opportunity to strengthen the link between Marketing and Sales.

About you

You’ll be an experienced marketer with strong commercial instincts and experience developing strategy, leading teams and working closely with Sales.

This could suit an established Head of Marketing, or a strong Senior Marketing Manager, Trade Marketing Manager or Customer Marketing Manager ready to step into broader leadership.

Experience in FMCG food or drinks is highly desirable with strong Trade/Customer marketing experience.
